Monet was founded by Michael Chernow in 1929 and was known as Monocraft until 1937.  After 1937 jewelry was marked Monet. They were one of the leading costume jewelrs during the 1940's.  They are known for there classic designs in silver and gold tones.  They are still manufacturing jewelry today.
